Callous Disregard - Samsung Washer and Dryer Top of the Line


I recently bought an expensive set of Samsung washer/dryers from Conn's . I have not used them very much because of the holiday but I did today with the help of my housekeeper. She pointed out to me that the washer was leaking and said she had mopped up water several times. I saw what she meant, but could not determine that the water was leaking from the hoses, only that it was coming from under the machine. I immediately called my Conn's salesperson to say I was having this problem and was concerned about possible electrocution or flooding. She gave me a number to call the delivery/repair service. The number she gave did not answer forever, then when they finally did, said they could not send anyone for repairs for at least five days, which I found completely unacceptable given the gravity. I asked to speak to a manager. They gave me yet another number which I called, thinking I would talk to someone but that person never answered. I left a message. When no one called me back by 6 pm, I called my salesperson back again, who said she had emailed and called them also but had not heard back either. Conn's evidently does not understand the meaning of customer service, does not seem to care if their appliances cause damage or harm to customers and would not even discuss alternatives that I was hoping to offer, such as to let me find and pay for service myself, then deduct it from a payment. All they care about is what is convenient to them, expecting busy customers to work around their schedule. To say this episode has disappointed me is an understatement.
