Hazardous Dryer after Conn's Technician Repaired

I just spoke with customer service who opened ticket #381098 and then without any call or resolution the ticket was closed literally within 20 mins.

Why was this request closed? The issue is not solved as NO ONE has called me back to even discuss the issue.

The brand new LG dryer I purchased from Conn's in Lewisville, TX caught on fire over 2 months ago. The dryer did not turn itself off nor did it trip the breaker. In the meantime, the board, the outlet cord at the point it connects with the dryer and all the wiring in the dryer was completely damaged.

On Saturday 10/04/14 when I was changing the 3 prong plug to a 4 prong plug I became aware that during the service call to "REPAIR" my dryer your service technician used electrical tape to "FIX" the damage wiring inside the dryer, replaced the damaged block with a new block and used electrical tape to "FIX" the 3 prong outlet cord - even though I had offered him the brand new one I had just bought. He refused and said he had a brand new one.

I am DEMANDING a return call from a SENIOR EXECUTIVE of CONN's corporate office within 72 hours.

I will be happy to forward you all the pictures I have taken of the shotty work performed by your technician. The dryer is a serious hazard and I am fully expecting resolution ASAP!!!
